So I'm processing 6k footage shot on the blackmagic 6k. I'm shooting in raw and exporting as prores. When playing prores on my imac pro it's choppy. Playing the same clip on vlc player it plays smoothly. any solution. Started a few months ago.

and I just noticed apple came out with an update and it seems to have solved the problem. 6k prores footage playback is now nice and smooth :)

Quicktime 10.5 choppy playb ack 6k prores but VLC plays smooth
