flashing apple logo white screen

After updating to IOS 14 on iPhone 6splus, phone started acting up. Now I have a flashing screen. 1st it's white with a black apple logo on for maybe 15 seconds, then off & black for 3-4 seconds. Just keeps doing this over & over. Tried shutting off & turning on again, nothing changes. The IOS 14 update really messed up my phone & I don't know what to do. Googled the problem & tried every solution offered. Some want me to pay to download a program that supposed to fix the problem but I don't trust the programs. Can anybody help me, please??

Solved my own problem looking online. Best source: https://www.lifewire.com/fix-iphone-white-screen-of-death-2000285

1st step: hold down HOME + VOLUME UP + POWER buttons all at the same time until flashing stops.

2nd step: Open iTunes, plug sync cable into iPhone BUT not into computer yet. Hold down HOME button & quickly plug in USB end into computer. Keep holding HOME until Recovery Mode screen appears = icon lightning cable plugging in shows up.

iPhone will now appear in iTunes & follow instructions on computer screen to Update or Restore.

Downloading Updates took so long (on slow internet service here) mine went back into flashing white mode so I just kept downloading on iTunes & once download was done, I redid Step #2 above. It worked! Phone works now with no problems.
