How do I put airplane mode on the MacBook Air

There is no cellular connectivity on a MacBook Air and no Airplane mode. You can turn off Bluetooth via Apple menu > System Preferences > Bluetooth and turn off Wi-Fi via Apple menu > System Preferences > Network.
