Apple Watch SE battery life

Just got a brand new SE and I am concerned with the battery life. Even in sleep mode after 8 hours of sleep on a full charge I am waking up with only about 60-65% charge remaining. I would think that in the sleep mode I should not be losing 35-40% of my battery in 8 hours. Is this normal?

Hi there, I have a similar problem.

I received my Apple Watch SE yesterday and had it fully charged before going to bed with the sleep tracking on. After around 7 hours' sleep, there was only 44% of power left...

I don't know whether this is a problem due to the WatchOS. So I upgraded the WatchOS to 7.02 and I also tried upairing/re-pairing my watch, as suggested in this thread (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/251806506). Hope it will get better tonight...
