Search option Mac OS Catalina version 10.15.7

Have you also experienced that the search option (magnifying glass) has become very slow?

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.15

finder : advance search missing in macos catalina I used to be able to set search criterion in finder using + icon to right of search ,( in finder menu bar). This seems to have disappeared. How do I set search criteria such as date modified, or kind etc

No, but from what I've seen, Spotlight is normally reindexed after an update. That may slow its response for a short time, maybe an hour.
