Apple keeps its last three OS's up to date with security updates etc.

Very soon Apple will release the next macOS Big Sur which will

mean High Sierra will get dropped from its support.

Apple recently released Security Update 2020-005 for High Sierra

this could be the last update High Sierra gets.
