Hello. I have an Apple Watch I am trying to pair with my phone. I have reset the watch and my phone multiple times. Whenever I open the watch APP it says I have to update my phone first. However my iPhone has the latest update (iOS 14.0.1)
it seems the app is stuck thinking I haven’t updated my iPhone although I have.
I tried to “exit and unpair” and then start over and still the same problem persists.
Well looks like this is the answer... they have dropped any support for older watches on the latest software.
I knew the watch wouldn't update os version but never saw anything mentioned about IOS updates dropping support for older Watch OS versions.
I am having the same issue. Series 1 watch.
Tried re-setting the watch, pairing with a different phone on ios13 and 14, but no luck.
Found some old posts (April time) that you can no longer comment on and no solutions there either.
So I believe the Apple Watch is a series 3 and the iPhone is iPhone XS
