is there a way to get last known location on a device? I can no longer locate my airpods.

last known location in Find My is only kept and and displayed for 24hrs. After 24hrs has passed, the device will simply show as “offline” until it connects again a new sends updated location data.

Airpods, being BT devices with no internet connection capability, can only update their location when actively paired with an Apple device (since it is the device that sends the AirPods location, using its internet connection).
