Forgot Pin to unlock lost Mac Book Pro

I was worried about my Mac Bol Pro being available and open for anyone in my apartment to access it while I was away. So, using my iPhone and the FindMy app, I activated the "Lost" function. It prompts you to create a six digit numerical pin/passcode. When I returned home the Mac Book Pro was still locked and requesting the pin I created. I don't remember what the pin was and have been locked out of my Mac for two days now. Does anyone know how to retrieve the pin or how to unlock the Mac?

Hello HelpWithLostActivation.

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you used Find My to remotely lock your MacBook Pro and forgot the passcode that was created. We will be glad to assist.

Please see the information below for steps to regain access to your Mac:

If your Mac is lost or stolen

"You can look up your passcode for a limited time. If you forget your passcode or can't verify your identity to see it, take your Mac to an Apple Authorized Service Provider along with your proof of purchase."

Cheers.
