iPhone Screen Stays Dark when the Alarm Goes off in the Morning

After the latest iOS update (14.0.1), when I use my iPhone 11 Pro as my alarm clock to wake me up, the alarm sounds, but the screen with the buttons to snooze or turn off the alarm no longer displays on the lock screen. This means I have to fumble around in the dark to find my iPhone, tap the blank screen to display the buttons, then turn off my alarm. This happens on my wife’s iPhone 11 Pro as well, so this is an iOS issue; not an anomaly with my specific iPhone. The same bug occurred in 2015 with iOS 9.0, and was later fixed in iOS 9.0.1. I reported this on the Apple Feedback site. Anyone else noticing the same problem?
