Microphone icon in Artist listing in Music app

I just bought a new Mac and since migrating, the artist's photos that were previously in place of the generic microphone icon are all missing now. I have the grey generic microphone for every artist in the list. Since my previous Mac was mid 2011, I was running Mountain Lion, and therefore still working in iTunes. Has Apple eliminated custom icons for Music? If not, how do I get the artist photo or album cover to replace the generic microphone?
