I have received email from Apple service that I need to verify my iCloud ID otherwise my account will be blocked , is that correct ?

I have received email from Apple service asking me to verify my iCloud account otherwise it will blocked after 12 hours , is that correct ?

I have received a email saying my icloud id has been locked. They also said that I cannot access my account and any Apple Service before completing vertification. I am checking to see if this is a true email from Apple/Icloud I was wanting to know if Icloud sent me a email saying that I have been icloud id has been locked. It's fake --Recognize and avoid phishing messages, phony support calls, and other scams - Apple Support.
