Iphone backup extraction

Hi,

My iphone XS recently was damaged severly and i can't use the touchscreen and it is not responsive. I have then acquired a new iphone and wanted to check how to do a backup of my old iphone as it was not automatic.

I cannot enter any password on my old iphone as the screen is unresponsive.
