Issues when muted on FaceTime?

Hey! So I was on a FaceTime video call and I muted myself, but the other person said they could still hear me making sounds. I tried unmuting and muting again but they could still hear me. This was on iOS 14.0.1

If anyone knows anything about this please let me know. Thank you!

iPhone X, iOS 14

Hi Pb_174,

We appreciate you reaching out via Apple Support Communities for help with this issue you experienced in your FaceTime call. Let's get to the bottom of it together.

To ensure we understand completely and are on the same page, please let us know more about what occurred. When you muted yourself in the call, did you notice the mute button change when tapped?

Has this happened more than once? Are you able to replicate the same behavior in a new FaceTime call?

If you haven't had an opportunity to do so, please restart your device to ensure the software is refreshed. Let us know if you continue to experience any issues.

Have a great day!
