calculator app won't open

Calculator was working; suddenly stopped allowing opening. Message: "The application 'calculator' can't be opened." Seemed to happen after updating OS. [common issue is glitches like these, and more]

SEEMS like APPLE is deliberately dropping useful tools...they already avoid putting a basic calculator on the iPads.

Calculator is a BASIC function of all computing gadgets. PUT back the free, reliable, WORKING calculator on all gadgets!

At LEAST allow connecting directly to solutions online!

The apps in the App Store are terrible. REFUSE to buy useless bad apps from the App Store.

NEED SOLUTION easily accessible!

Mac mini 2018 or later

Please determine if the same problems occur in "Safe Mode": Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac.

The Calculator was not dropped or blocked in the mac. Something in your system is not ok, but there is nothing deliberate here.

If you give us workable information we may be able to help.

Also, were there any recent changes (updates, or new software installed)?
