volume button

hello! so i have an iphone 8 and i got it may 2019 recently i cracked my screen on September 16 and it’s not bad, no glass is falling out and it missed the camera so that’s good. however today october 2 my up volume button is not working, my bottom button does, and it’s not sticky or anything like it presses down really easy etc. i was just wondering if anyone knew if anyone can help me or if i should send it into apple.
