I subscribe to Appletv app and already have the tv channels they offer through Directv, do I have to pay for them again if I want to watch a show? I'm not gonna pay for something that I already am paying for!

Then don't. You don't have to subscribe to any of the channels in the Apple TV app. Continue to watch that content through Direct TV.
The Apple TV app is an app on the iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV. It doesn't cost anything. Apple TV+ is Apple's subscription service. The AppleTV+ subscription gives you access to Apple's original content. It's completely separate from things like DirectTV.
I understand BUT they offer tv shows/movies through Showtime, STARZ and amc that I already pay for through Directv. I don't want to pay again for the same channels.
