How do I get rid of blank row on control screen?

With the most recent iOS update, there is a blank row of buttons on the control screen, with the camera and several other functions pushed to the bottom of the screen. This requires additional movement to get to the bottom row of buttons. How do I get rid of the blank row of buttons?

Hello BuckeyeBandit,

We understand that you're seeing a row of blank buttons in some of your apps.

Does restarting your device help at all?

If not, then make sure you're running iOS 14.0.1. If not, go ahead and back up then update and test it again.

If the issue continues, check and see if you have Reachability enabled. This guide can help.

Have a great rest of your day!
