the Back of my XS Max has shattered , shis has not been dropped but looks like its been pushed out from inside, poss a swollen battery., has anyone else had this happen?

They use glass to allow wireless charging.
All devices since the 8 have rear glass. Including the 11.
Looks like I’m not going to buy another iPhone then
The phone is nearly 2 years old so not covered under warranty, why make the back out of glass, I’ve had iPhones since the first one and am always able to sell them after as they are in perfect condition.
The rear glass can't be repaired and the device must be replaced.
If the glass broke because of an expanding battery you should get a free replacement device.
The 11 isn’t glass and that’s got wireless charging. So my phone is basically now not worth anything.
