Unlocking Apple Watch series 4

I have sold my Apple Watch device to a device company, however before I sent it I unpaired the watch from my phone and unconnected the iCloud. When they received it they said it was still locked to my iCloud and to contact apple to help unlock it

On a computer, go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID.

Go to Find Iphone.

Select All Devices, then click your Apple Watch.

Click Erase Apple Watch.

Select Next until the device is erased.

Click the remove button next to your Apple Watch.
