MacBook Air
Go to Apple menu > About This Mac and tell us all about it. macOS version and year/model/specs of your Mac.
In the same screen open System Report and select Power on the left menu. Tell us what is says about your battery (Charge, Health, Amperage, Voltage, cycles, etc.).
On your Mac try this.
Reset SMC https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295
Reset NVRAM https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204063
Boot in Safe Mode, turn your Mac on and immediately hold Shift. Once you're in, reboot normally and check if it got any different.
Anyway, this is the kind of problem you should take to an Apple Store, authorized or, if it's an old Mac, to and independent shop for check na repair.
