A1243 Keyboard

I have used the Apple A1243 USB keyboard for a couple of years and I am very happy with it. Unfortunately, certain keys are no longer registering when pressed. It began with the ":", but now the following keys no longer respond: "0", "P", ":" and "?". The keyboard has a Japanese layout (I live in Japan ), so the unresponsive keys which line up vertically. Any ideas?
