I've read some threads complaining that the spotlight search won't find any apps or contacts after an iOS 14 upgrade.
I've got another issue: I upgraded from 13 directly to 14.0.1 and now the spotlight search doesn't show any local files anymore.
Anyone experiencing the same?

Restarting the phone obviously doesn't help, and reinstalling/resetting the whole system is an overkill unless you have just a dozen of apps.
SOLUTION!
In the meantime, I updated two phones to iOS 14 and both behaved in the same way not showing up files in spotlight search.
I gave up, however about 10 days after the update files started to appear in spotlight search!
So if you have a lot of files or apps, just wait, probably iOS need everything to reindex or synchronize or whatever this mysterious systems do.
