wireless keyboard to iphone 11 - lag/slow response

I have two Logitech K780 wireless keyboards that I use in my home office. I would occasionally pair them to my iPhone 6 - worked great.

Since upgrading to the 11 Pro Max, there's a significant lag with the keyboards. Batteries are good. Both keyboards work well on other devices, such as the old iPhone 6 or my iPad ... and of course my PCs. It's only a problem on the new iPhone 11. Not sure if it would matter, but I do not have anything else paired to the unifying receiver ("dongle"). Any ideas?

To help isolate this behavior with the wireless keyboards, we suggest to follow the recommended steps outlined on Logitech's website through this link here: Troubleshooting for connection issues
