AAE with a letter "O" added when importing from iPhone to MacBook using Photos

As title, when I use Photos on Mac (OS 10.15.6) to import photos from my iPhone, and then export the imported photos (unmodified original) to a folder, a letter "O" will be always added automatically, as shown below. How to fix this?

Yes, the AAE contains the edits info, but the HEIC is still in the original untouched format, so the AAE is needed. When I remove the letter "O" from the AAE filename, Photos will correctly combine the HEIC and AAE to show the edited photo. My problem is that I have to manually remove the letter "O" for each AAE file, which is quite annoying.
