Find my phone

I got an email saying find my phone had been turned off, I did not do it and I do not know how to turn it on, all the information online is not applicable.

You need to log back into your iCloud account on the phone and turn it on.

If you don't have physical possession of the phone, you can't turn it on remotely.

Thanks have done that and use it from iPhone but not from my iPad which I could until yesterday.

Further to my other reply when I try to find my phone from my iPad it says phone is offline which it is not and it close by on the same table although as I said before the iPhone will find itself.
