Honda Handsfreelink and iphone 11

I've been using Honda's Handsfreelink with various iPhones, including my current iPhone 11 on my 2015 with success. It's always worked fine. Since a recent iPhone update (3 updates ago, one of the IOS13 updates), it has stopped working. The phone connects to the Handsfreelink system, but when I dial or try to receive an incoming call, it disconnects from the system. It's completely unusable. This has continued with the lates IOS14 update. I've tried resetting all the systems: forgetting the device on iPhone, forgetting the device on Handsfreelink, resetting Handsfreelink. Nothing is working, and this is frustrating after working fine for almost 5 years. Does anyone have a suggestion? I called Honda, but their suggestions didn't help. There's no way to update the system in the car.
