I purchased an Audiobook from the AppleBooks app (All of my apps and software are up-to-date). When it finished, and I went to restart it, it just does a quick flash and then closes.
I see there were previous comments on this, and the person indicated they found a fix by going to Info and resetting. I do not see ‘info’ or a reset option.
Any assistance appreciated.

I am not sure if you got your book to replay yet or not, but I had this problem too. I found a solution on another post that worked for me. Here it is:

I was having the same problem, this is how I fixed it: Go to the iTunes Store, search the book you want to re-read and click the download cloud icon, it will “download” for a few seconds, then a “play” icon will appear. Click it and re-read!”——-
There you go. Hope it works for you too! This does seem like more of a bandaid than an actual fix IMHO, but it does the trick! Hopefully Apple will correct this little hiccup, and the re-download won’t be needed every time.

Thank you for that. That was my other problem - it did not have the cloud symbol - and I was worried if I deleted I would not be able to re-download. I have took the chance and ‘removed’ it. Then I went to purchases and was able tor re-download. Yes, it is a heck of a hiccup - but it seems to have worked.
