Locked Notes Not unlocking with Face ID

Locked notes have stopped opening with Face ID, I have tried toggling on and off the option in settings, but it is still not working. Does anyone know why this is the case? All other Face ID functions work. Thanks.

Face ID no longer working with Notes Face ID has recently stopped working with Notes which is preventing me from accessing a couple of important notes. I setup a password (a couple years ago) and the hint isn’t helping. I’ve never needed it as I’ve always used Face ID for access. This problem exists on my iPhone and iPad. I’ve verified all the Face ID related settings. My phone is running iOS 16.3.1. I’m assuming this is a bug that will hopefully be fixed soon. In the meantime has anyone had the same issue and found a way to solve it?

Verify Settings > Notes > Password > Use Face ID is toggled ON (green)

Thanks, this worked, I had it on in Face ID, but it had turned off in the notes section. Had to reset my password though .Thanks.
