Bought apple watch but need to reset previous apple id,

I had purchased an apple watch from a person and the person with whom i got this has forgotten her apple password, and i am unable to use appe watch. She has already emailed to apple and her case number is 101187722403. So by when will the password will be reset. As apple set it will be after 13 days. I have got the box and purchased bill as she has given me while selling.
