How to change Apple ID on IPhone

I set my Apple ID as my old one on my new IPhone and I can't get all my APPs. I'm trying to change my Apple ID on my phone but it is not letting me. Can someone help?

Why can't you change the Apple ID on the phone? What happens when you try? Error message(s)?
