Elevation not displaying on watch s6 gps + cellular (not activated) privacy settings updated, watch unpaired and started as new watch but still not working longitude and latitude work fine, please help?

Elevation not displaying on watch s6 gps + cellular (cellular plan not activated but only GPS should be required for elevation/altimeter) privacy settings updated, watch has been unpaired and restored from backup and also started as new watch but still not working. Longitude and latitude and compass working as expected, elevation works fine on iPhone. Please can you help me?
