After upgrading to iOS 14 on my iPhone 11 Pro Max, I no longer am unable to create a checklist using Notes. The tray that is usually visible above the keyboard is no longer there. What happened to it? Where did it go? What am I doing wrong?
Ok... I found out what I did wrong. I was creating a note under my gmail account... i needed to create a note either in my iCloud or.. on my iPhone. Interesting... I guess iOS Notes/checklists, etc... is not supported in gmail notes?

That thing you call a “tray” requires iCloud notes.
Be very careful about where your notes are housed, especially when you choose more than one place to house them.
Are your notes housed in iCloud? They should be. Check Settings > Notes > Accounts.
