My migration has frozen from my old iMac to my new one. What do I do?

The Migration Assistant app normally works well and a migration will typically take an hour, more or less. If it got hung up, that likely means that some data being transferred got corrupted. Corruption often occurs when the transfer is done with Wi-Fi. If you are using Wi-Fi, do the transfer with a USB cable and you should have no problems. If you do not have one, try using an Ethernet cable. If it still doesn't work, let us know.
