Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it seems you are experiencing issues with animated Memoji, and getting the message: "Bring face into view".

Is there currently any kind of protective case or protective screen film on your device that can be removed for further testing? Does Face ID work as expected on your iPhone? We're asking because both Face ID, andMemoji are using the true depth camera, and we want to make sure that this camera is working as expected.
