Hello I just activated my free one year appleTv because I got a new MAC book pro. Problem is when I look for a movie some of them want to charge me while others not. Why is this happening ? Isn't my one year free for all movie and tv shows ?

Apple TV + is Apple Original content. It’s a channel found within the Apple TV App. The shows included in your subscription will have the tv+ logo on them - those are free with your subscription
There are other channels and iTunes content in the TV App that requires payment - in other words there is no Apple TV Plus App (this causes confusion) It’s free Apple TV Plus not free Apple TV.

It depends on what you are trying to watch. My understanding is if the title you want to watch is an "Apple TV" title, then it would be free. However, they also have titles listed for add-on services, such as AMC+, CBS All Access, etc. Any titles that are showing on Apple TV that are provided by an add-on service are not free. You get 1-year free of "Apple TV+" only.
