unwanted contact possible virus or spam

I tried to delete a contact from my yahoo list but it will not go away. I hit the x after the address and it stays

Now there are 3 addresses like this in my list that I can't get rid of. This email address is not in my apple contact list but comes up when I compose and hit r in the address line. The name of it is Reply to Answer and a big long list of numbers @powerreviews.com. I tried the suggestion from sterling r but that does not work

I'm not quite sure what you mean by a "yahoo list".

I believe you want to remove a Previous Recipient. In the Mail app, choose the Window menu and select Previous Recipients. Select the name, then Remove From List.
