Crackling emitted from internals of 2017 15" MacBook Pro

My 2017 15" MacBook Pro recently began producing a crackling sound from the lower part of the case. It seems to happen when the device gets warm. Sounds consist of small pops and crackles, and they occur at completely random intervals. I thought the issue may have been related to the speakers, but upon close inspection, the sounds are coming from the internals of the device inside the lower half of the case. There have been no noticeable changes in performance. However, the sounds appear to be getting worse as time goes on. I am quite worried about the issue as my AppleCare plan just expired a little more than a month ago.

Hello Hajjmanian_Devil,

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. We understand that you have concerns regarding noises your MacBook Pro is emitting, right? This could be something related to your internal fans or something else. Have you performed a SMC reset on your Mac? If not, it'd be a good idea to give that a try.

How to reset the SMC of your Mac

If you continue to have issues, you might consider having it checked out by a technician. You can look into your options at Mac Service and Repair.

Best wishes.
