Thank you. I have several email accounts (Comcast, Gmail, Ymail, AARP, Me, iCloud) and the @me is the only one that has been problematic. It would seem that the best approach will be to avoid using the @me and @iCloud unless the recipient is using an Apple device.
Do you know if the same issue occurs if using the @icloud.com address. Frequently I send emails to folks not on my contacts list. Do I first need to use an alternate address telling them that they need to reconfigure to allow @me.com messages to reach inbox?
The recipient will have to configure their email client to not put your emails into spam.
I use several Windows computers and receive email from me.com addresses almost daily without issue. The issue is likely a setting on the recipient's end.
