Airdrop cannot be found

Thanks for keeping us updated. In your original post you mentioned that you could not find AirDrop in the sidebar on your Mac. AirDrop is a macOS feature and not an app you have installed. You can add AirDrop back to sidebar by opening Finder and navigating to Finder > Preferences > Siderbar. At that point you can select AirDrop.

It sounds like you're having trouble locating AirDrop using the Finder sidebar. If that's the case you can customize what you want to add in the sidebar by opening Finder and navigating to Finder > Preferences > Siderbar.
