“Sorry, could you say that again?”

I have been trying to get Siri on my Apple Watch to work for weeks now to no avail. Every time I activate her (whether it be raise to speak, pressing the crown, or hey Siri) she always gives the same response: “Sorry, could you say that again?”. I have restarted my Apple Watch several times, I’ve Ensured I have Hey Siri enabled on both my iPhone and Apple Watch, and the microphone is clear from obstruction. This is infuriating, I just want to use Siri. I’ve reset, unpaired and paired my watch twice, once from backup and once from scratch; neither have solved my issue.

Hey there holden52,

We see that you are having some difficulties with using the Siri feature on your Apple Watch. We would love to assist you with resolving this issue.

Check out this resource that provides troubleshooting for this issue: Use Siri on your Apple Watch

When reviewing this resource, check out the steps in the section titled "If Siri doesn't respond or asks you to try again".

Also, try taking a dry cloth and cleaning the microphone for the Apple Watch, which is located on the right side of the watch face between the side button and digital crown.

Try isolating the issue to just Siri by testing the microphone on another microphone-enabled app on the Apple Watch such as the Voice Memos app, Walkie-Talkie app, or the Dictation feature in the Messages app.

If the issue continues when using other apps as well, this may be hardware-related. For this, we suggest contacting Apple Support over the phone and speaking to an advisor for more service options or to request a diagnostics.

Hope this helps!

Take care.
