Using a sound bar, but I cannot get sound while watching while a movie on Apple . Sound is OK on any other app

Doe that use Roku for the smart TV features?

The Apple TV app user guide only lists a few audio related settings. None of which could cause audio to vanish.

Hopefully someone else has new ideas, or else contact Apple Support.
