I received my new Apple Watch 6 yesterday, first time I've ever had one. I used the Workout app on a run this morning, for a distance I know to be exactly 4 miles. It's a 2 mile loop I ran twice, I've measured it with my car and MapMyRun. As you can see in the attached screenshot, the watch measured it at only 3.48 miles. Any ideas on how to fix this? Pretty disappointed for a $500 device to be that inaccurate.

BTW did you have your iPhone with you on the run? I'm asking because a few times in the past I've gotten weird mileage when I've had the phone and the watch on me.

Thanks Randy, I’ll give that a try. I didn’t have my phone, the main reason I got the watch was so I wouldn’t need to carry my phone on runs
