Once part of Unicode, the new emoji will be available across all platforms; not solely Apple.

There is no chance of seeing a newly-added gourd emoji arriving this fall (northern hemisphere), though. Standards committees and software developers working on new software releases just typically don’t work that fast.

For now, you’ll have to suffice with the fallen leaf 🍂, maple leaf 🍁, and other existing emoji, yes. including the jack-o-lantern 🎃.

And we’re other users and not folks that work for Apple, so nobody here can “pull strings” with Apple (not that that would even help, here), nor with the Unicode Emoji Committee.
