Haptic for scroll bar

How do I turn off the haptics when i hold the scroll bar and drag it down? I turned off system haptics in settings and it didn’t work. Then, I restarted my phone and it still doesn’t work.

haptics and scrolling i have a new iphone se and when i’m scrolling through web pages the phone with out my direction will suddenly engage a haptic then scroll back up the screen on its own. it’s becoming very annoying and frustrating any of my previous iphones didn’t do this. i do not want to turn haptics completely off because i want it to vibrate when i receive calls. i really don’t want to have any other haptics responses operating for anything else the phone does. any suggestions on what is causing this? and can it be fixed or set differently?

App Switcher Haptic Issue I’m on ios16.2 on an iphone13. when i pull up the screen from the bottom it accesses the app switcher per usual…BUT!!! The haptic feedback on doing so sometimes work quickly, sometimes there’s a little delay. And sometimes there’s no haptic at all. Is this normal? Is it a bug in the ios? How do i fix this?

Hello bimbimbum,

We understand you'd like to disable the haptic feedback that appears when scrolling on your device.

In Settings > Accessibility > Haptic Touch > switch duration from Fast to Slow.
