Ipad update using itunes seems stuck

I have been updating my ipad pro using itunes on my laptop. But it has said the same thing for over 30 minutes.

At the top it says “Preparing ipad for software update” with a blue progress bar, n main section says “iTunes is updating software on the ipad.”

Is it stuck? Will it let me know when its done or am I supposed to click “done”?

Hi sweetemmilyn,

It sounds like you are experiencing some issues updating your iPad. We can help with this.

Are you currently seeing anything on the iPad or does it just show a blank screen? Was your iPad backed up before you started the update in iTunes? You may need to click "Done" or disconnect the iPad which is why we ask about the backup.
