My Hangouts profile pictures are not showing after IOS 14 updates. It shows in the Google search extension on my PC, but not on the iPhone app. I have an 8+ working fine otherwise.
Please advice fixes as I haven't able to find the unique setting that is restricting it.

I figured out the Hangouts problem in my iPhone: Uninstall and re-install the app. Classic troubleshooting. Duh !!!!

More collaboration between the two popular giants addressing this issue for a seamless update? With all the sharp brains in the companies, someone maybe figured it out, yet advice/recommendation was overruled/ignore/dismissed.
