MacBook Pro can't see GoPro to transfer files

MacBook Pro 16" March 2020 can't see GoPro Hero 9 to transfer files?

Using USB-C cable as no other type of slots available.

New MacBook, new GoPro but no device nor files are visible?

Tried Finder - Nothing

Tried GoPro Quik - Nothing

Tried image capture - Nothing

Tried Preview - Nothing

Tried Photos - Nothing.

Extremely frustrating!

With the old GoPro 8 and a previous MacBook Pro (2012 version) I had to use image capture because Apple Finder didn't work, but this time nothing seems to work.

Any help greatly appreciated.
