Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! Thanks for posting about the Calculator app not working as expected after updating to the latest version of macOS. We'd be glad to see how we can help.

Just so we get a better idea of what's going on, what specifically happens when you try using the Calculator app? If it happens to be freezing or quitting unexpectedly, try the steps in If an app freezes or quits unexpectedly on Mac and see if that helps. If that isn't what's happening, let us know more and we'll pick up from there.

No freezing or quitting. The '=' has disappeared and if one were to try a simple calculation (any calculation) there is no = to get your answer. Also an 'enter' button has appeared in place of the '='

Also there are three separate lines at the top of the app and directly underneath are buttons for 'x<->y' also an 'R adjacent to a downward pointing arrow, an 'R with an upward facing arrow, and a button with the word 'drop'.
