Do we need to calibrate the battery once a month on iphone 8 and later?
Heard Apple don’t recommends it anymore.

There is nothing special that needs to be done to a battery now. Do not let it drain completely. Charge it when you want to for as long as you want to. See if this helps: https://www.apple.com/batteries/maximizing-performance/
